One fruit.
Nothing else.

How a frustration with unreadable snack labels turned into the simplest bar we could possibly make.

NOTHING BUT started with a question we couldn't shake: why does a "fruit snack" need twenty ingredients? Walk any snack aisle and the labels read like chemistry sets — syrups, concentrates, gums, "natural flavors," preservatives, dyes. Somewhere along the way, the fruit became the smallest part of the fruit snack.

We thought that was backwards. So we made the opposite.

The idea behind "nothing but"

Our bars contain one ingredient: fruit. Not fruit puree blended with apple juice and rice syrup — just the named fruit, picked ripe and freeze-dried so its flavor concentrates instead of fading. When the bar says Mango, the only thing inside is mango. Read the label and you're done reading in one word.

That constraint is hard to pull off, which is exactly why so few snacks do it. Most "healthy" bars lean on added sugar and binders to taste good and hold together. We removed all of it and let the fruit carry the whole thing.

Built by people who own the orchard-to-bar chain

We're not a brand that found a co-packer and slapped a logo on someone else's recipe. We're part-owners of the manufacturer that makes these bars. That means we have a direct hand in which fruit goes in, when it's harvested, and how it's processed — and we can stand behind the single-ingredient promise because we control the line that keeps it true.

You can see exactly how the bars are made on our process page — from ripe fruit to finished bar, with nothing added in between.

Why it matters to us

Most of us are feeding other people — kids, partners, parents, teammates on a long hike. You shouldn't need a nutrition degree to know whether a snack is honest. A one-word label is the most transparent thing we know how to offer.

That's the whole company, really: real fruit, picked at its peak, and nothing else. The people you feed deserve nothing but the best.
